Trends data repeatedly cycling up-and-down on a 14-minute interval

Hello,

I have a setup with a 120Ah AGM battery, 2x 100W solar panels, a SmartSolar MPPT 75|15, SmartShunt, and SBP.

At 16:40 yesterday the data started having a square-wave pattern to it, cycling on/off almost exactly (within 1-2 seconds) every 7 minutes.

The overall data trends in the way I’d expect, but isn’t a smooth curve. I’ve attached 2-day graphs to show the contrast with the previous data, which has always been smooth. There have been no hardware changes during this time, and the weather has been fairly consistently sunny for the past few days. The van hasn’t moved location. The battery voltage and current consistently cycle every 14 minutes, the solar yield seems to be smooth when increasing, but cycles when decreasing.

Any suggestions of where to look would be appreciated? Is this likely to be an electrical system issue or a software/data issue with the victron logs?

Many thanks

Since it also happens at night, it cant be MPPT related. Check your loads. Cant be too big of a load, since the peaks are around 2.5A, so around 35W. Might be your fridge short cycling, check if the door closes all the way. What else is powered by this battery? If in doubt start pulling fuses until the pattern stops, then you got the culprit
