Tank 140 Problem with ports 3 and 4

Dear All. Can someone tell me why on my tank 140 I can not get the 2 internally powered ports 3 and 4 to power

the 0 to 5 volt BEP water tank senders. If i plug into ports 1 or 2 all works well. I have 2 fresh water tanks and 1 grey water

tank in my van so I need ports 3 and 4 to work. Thanks Roman from Queensland Australia

A wiring diagram may help to understand how you have connected things.

I have channel 3 working on mine (not a BEP sender though) from the boats 12V supply. The 12V positive and negative go to the sender and then the sender 0-10V output and negative connect to the in and ground terminals on channel 3. This bypasses the whole internal power supply and works.

Hey There. Thanks for the info. I had the same idea however it didnt work. The only difference is that I have all the earth

wires from the senders together in one earth connection that is in the van wiring. I will try seperating them into the individual

earths on the Tank 140 and see how that goes. Roman.
