Hello All,
I was out last weekend and currently have a starter plus 2 house battery set up on a switch as well as a shunt set up to monitor the house while on anchor. We anchored out and was on the house batteries but when I switched back to slot 1 (Starter Battery), the engine seemed to crank slow after only using 25% capacity of the house bank.
Any thoughts to troubleshooting? I looked to be sure the hot wires are in the correct slot and the house batteries are parallel together.
Thanks for any thoughts here. The batteries are only second season in here brand new lead acid as of 2025.
