Strange DESS Behaviour - Charge from Grid even with solar providing enough power?

Hi,

today my DESS was enabled and even though there was enough sun forecasted, it charged the Batter yfrom grid?!
Why?

Same today - what causes DESS to charge?

Look at target SoC. If it’s charging it’s likely that DESS has planned a SoC higher than current SoC.

Ok - Target for that Range was 100% - but how to change this?

There should be no “Target” getting reached from Grid, as long as there ist enough Sun…

Or is this this a general DESS query?

It could also be if battery balancing has been schedule for that day. In this case it plans to charge to 100%. You should see a banner saying this if thats the case though (you can turn it off in settings).
