SSH Access not working

Hi,

I’ve followed the instructions here and activated Superuser Access level, set a Root password, and Enable SSH on LAN turned on, but I’m unable to SSH into the the Cerbo. Tried a restart, tried to turned everything off and then back on, but same result, I never even get to enter password, connection just fails.

ssh: connect to host 192.168.1.18 port 22: Operation timed out

The only thing I tried that partly worked was turning Remote support on, and then using the remote IP to SSH in. That let me into the password entering stage, but of course no password worked here.

Any ideas what could be going on?

The step before that is you have to set the root password.

And yes remote acces has to be on - it is remote accessing the device.

Of setting a password does5work, you can reset the device and start again. The GX has section in its manual for that.

Yep, I did both, but still can’t login using my local IP. I guess it’ll require a reset…
