Hi All
Wondering if anyone could perhaps assist me solving an issue.
We recently installed the new Solarsense at our offices. Before the unit was installed on the roof, we had it connected to the Cerbo GX MK2 via a bluetooth dongle (Tp-link Model: TL-WNB23N) and all worked fine. We then changed the bluetooth dongle to a Ugreen (Model: CM748) and all worked perfectly. After the Solarsense was moved to the roof we noticed that the unit was not picking up on the Cerbo, so we decided to add a 5 meter USB extension (Unitek Model: Y-271 5M) to the system in order to get the dongle closer to the Solarsense. We then noticed that it still was not picking up, after further inspection, we picked up on the fact that the Cerbo was not connected to wifi anymore, and no matter what we tried it would not connect. Upon further inspection, the wifi LED on the unit itself, was flashing orange, which states wifi disabled, however it was not.
We then proceeded to switch back to the older dongle (Tp-link) however this did not change a thing. We swapped out the cerbo for a new one, and without the extension cable, the unit picked up the Solarsense immediately, however it stuggled with the wifi for a while. We decided to roll back the firmware on the old unit and test it again, but still no success on that unit, and now the new unit is acting the exact same, not evein picking up the solar sense anymore.
Any suggestions as to what could of caused this, what solutions you may have? Anything would be appreciated.
