Hello… Since 22 September, the reports in the VRM Portal and app have been playing up for me… I’m no longer seeing any solar yield, and between 9 am and 6 pm I’m getting more or less nonsensical consumption figures (either too low or nothing at all). The values themselves are displayed correctly. It’s actually only the data reporting that’s affected… it’s a bit annoying, as I can’t get any accurate figures to compare. Maybe you have a solution to my problem… I’m using a Cerbo GX MK2 with firmware version 3.80
Does the mppt appear on the GX itself locally in the device list?
Is it can connected or be direct connected or connected/metered a different way?
I don’t use an MPPT… I have a MultiPlus II 48/5000 connected on the AC side, and it’s only there to store the PV yield and feed it back. There’s an EM540 connected to the GX for grid consumption/feed-in, and a Shelly (which will soon be replaced by another EM540) that measures my PV output… as I already wrote, everything worked perfectly until 7 days ago.
Does the energy meter for the PV still register on the GX locally?
Hi,
You need to make sure that your Shelly, which measures the yield, shows negative instantaneous values in the Shelly app. Only then will the energy be counted in the “correct register”.
This was wrong initially and was fixed during the 3.80 beta.
The instantaneous production is always displayed, even if the Shelly’s polarity is reversed — only the meter readings for energy fed back into the grid will then remain unchanged.
Hi dognose
Thanks for the tip…
It seems to be working again now.
Cheers
