Soc wont reset have added pic of settings and diagram of system i have 2 array system

My SOC wont reset to 100% on its own when fully charged. The SOC wont show a increase in charge % when more power is coming in than going out.

Both the inverter and the MPPT should be connected to the load side of the shunt.

Without this, the charge is not registered, and the tail current won’t drop to below the limit.

so are you saying i need to add a jumper wire from my neg buss to the load side?

sorry that’s not what i meant . i meant to remove the neg from the controller that’s on the neg buss bar and put it on the neg load side

No, The negative bus connects to all of the battery -ve terminals and the battery terminal of the shunt. NO OTHER wire connects to this node. Both the Inverter negative and the MPPT battery negative connect to the LOAD side of the shunt, as does any other load / charger on the system.

@joe4 See the linked FAQ, especially the diagram.

Mike THANK YOU was able to get to it this morning and it WORKS PERFECT

Your charged voltage at 28,6V is WAY too high! Should be set at 27,6V (3,45V per cell)
Charge voltages are also too high in my opinion. Absorption voltage should be 28V max, float should be around 26,8V.
You are stressing your cells too much with these high voltages, and you’re not gaining any extra capacity.

The “charged voltage” should be roughly 0.2v below the charging voltage, and the charging voltage is set to 28.8, so the charged voltage is appropriate.

Charging voltage is also too high for an 8 cells LFP battery. There is no benefit charging a LFP cell over 3.45V even though they can be charged to 3.65V. There is no extra capacity difference between 3.45 and 3.65.

OP doesn’t say what batteries he’s using; profiles are set to Pb.

Fair point, forgot that people still use anything other than LFP these days
