I have installed a Smartshunt into a leisure battery configuration of my campervan.

Inverter
Confident I have wired up correctly (battery negative to battery load), battery positive to inverter, inverter negative, mppt and 12v loads to load side of Shunt.
When using 12v devices (TV, fridge for example) I get a quick reading on the app but then current, power, consumed just revert to zero.
Putting a device thru the inverter seemed to register correctly.
The devices work, I just don’t get a reading - faulty cables or faulty Shunt? Or me just being paranoid!
So let me make sure I understand. We are going with the shunt being installed as a fact. When operating 12V loads they are measured and show on the SmartShunt interface briefly and then go away? But loads operating on the inverter seem to show properly?
My first thought is that you may have one or multiple insufficient grounds on the DC side. This could cause bad continuity on the negative side when loads are applied to the circuit. I would revisit all your negative connections looking for loose or poorly crimped terminals. Also double check all factory grounds. They can be a culprit as well. Make sure grounds to chassis are on bare metal. Perhaps as a first step, make your own chassis ground off the load side of the shunt somewhere and see if that changes anything.
Do make sure that the battery negative terminal is ISOLATED from the chassis, and that the chassis is connected to the load side of the shunt. Otherwise the shunt is bypassed.
