SmartShunt 300A seems slow on updating values

Hi, I’ve got a problem with a new Smart Shunt 300A, which replaced a Smart Shunt 500A that I needed to move to another part of the system.

Unfortunately, for some reason this new shunt updates measurement values very slowly. Normally, in a Victron system the readings from sensors are very fast—you can even see small voltage fluctuations at around 1 mV. That’s exactly how it worked with the old shunt.

With this new one, the readings are really sluggish. Sometimes it shows only the voltage, and only after a while does it start showing the current. It feels like it doesn’t react quickly to changes in values at all.

On top of that, the voltage measurement is off by more than 400 mV. Other components in the system agree on the battery voltage, but the new shunt reports a higher value.

Any idea what could be causing this, or what can be done about it?
