Good morning, I’ve encountered a problem with the Smart Solar 250/60 MC4 charge controller. The controller is active, but the photovoltaic part is off. Currently, the connectors are receiving 180 volts, so the controller should be on. I noticed that if I move the positive connector, I hear a faint crackling sound. At this point, I think it’s due to the fixed connector on the Smart Solar. Can you tell me if the connectors can be removed? From what I’ve seen, Smart Solar controllers are not repairable. I solved the problem by replacing the positive MC4 connector. What misled me and made me think it was a Smart Solar problem was the voltage present on the connectors, but the defective connector was probably oxidized. I replaced it with a new one and now the charge controller is active
