Skilla and Quattro set up working together to boost charging rates

I have a boat with 3 x 200aH 24V Victron batteries and it is charged with a Victron Quattro and a Skilla-I On Tuesday the system shut down due to low voltage, the battery state was 28% so clearly the calibration of remaining charge was wrong.

The Quattro shutdown and I could not get it to power up by starting either the generator or shorepower. The only way to get the Quattro to come on was to run the engine and for the alternator to put charge into the lithium batteries this seems odd to me I don’t know if the configuration is wrong. Once there was enough power in the batteries for the Quattro to come alive I was able to switch off the engine and charge using shorepower.

At this point the Quattro was producing 166a and the Syilla-I was producing 99a meaning the the batteries were charging at 255a which is fantastic. However after about 30 minutes the breaker went on the shore power connection and when I re-set it only the Quattro would come on so the charging rate dropped to 177a. I have noticed this this is normal for my system the Skilla very rarely assists to boost charging rates and the only difference was that when we first started charging the batteries were very low but after about 30 minutes we would have put 100amps into the batteries so that this point the system for whatever reason decided not to use the Skilla.

My question is this, what is causing this to happen, for my part we mostly charge the batteries using the generator so we want to run the generator for as short a time as possible so we want to charge the batteries as quickly as possible without damaging them. Is there a setting that I should check to see why the Skilla only activates if the batteries have been deeply discharged?

Does nobody know the answer to this?

It can be many different things. Which Quattro do you have and which skyilla? What was the rating in A of the shore outlet that tripped? How big is your generator? Is the Skyilla connected directly to shore/generator or through the Quattro? When was the last time you had the batteries fully charged before the low voltage incident?
