Will this work without killing Alternator (100a) ? Just looking for a simple system to start with
That will protect the alternator. The Orion XS negative will also go to the load/system side of the shunt along with the starter battery, DC loads and the hull ground if you have one. The battery side of the shunt connects to the house batteries.
