Settings changing automatically on remote console

Hi,

I have the Victron Inverter DC - MultiPlus-II 5kVa and have Pylontech batteries which were replaced approx 3 weeks ago.
In this 3 week period the Battery Monitor has changed from “Automatic” to “No battery monitor” and AC Input 1 changes from “Grid” to “Not available” on the remote console. This is happening without human intervention. Can anyone advise why this is happening and how I can prevent this happening in the future?

Check whether automatic updates are enabled and disable them.

Thank you for your guidance. Apologies for the next question but I’m the home owner and not the installer but where would check for whether ‘automatic updates’ is?

What I was able to see is

- Firmware online updates are disabled

  • Battery monitor is automatic

Check the settings in Cerbo, or via VRM, to see whether updates are available.

Updates are only necessary if something isn’t working properly or the system is being completely set up again.

If the system is working, don’t touch it (“do not touch a working system”)
