The Zero-Feed in option (See Settings → ESS → Grid Feedin → AC Coupled PV - Feed in excess yes/no. When set to “no”, the GX will actively control the PV Inverters, and reduce their output when needed to prevent selling energy back to the grid.
Does anyone know if this setting exists (and if so, where) on the Multi RS?
I have a 3-phase setup with a solaredge 8k, currently controlling the dynamic power limit via nodered. it works, but I prefer a native solution. I don’t see the abovementioned PV feed-in options in my settings tho.
These are ESS settings in the new UI on the Cerbo/GX.
The RS doesn’t have a “full” ESS implementation, so can’t say what PV inverter limitations there are.
Considering it went from no ESS to where it is, I would expect it to be improved considering the roadmap for the architecture. That said, us community dwellers aren’t in the loop.
