I have a Cerbo GX running v3.75 firmware, my question is about resistive tank sensors. My setup is a camper gray tank and a float style tank sensor (0-240 ohm) that has been installed for a few years and overall working properly. Recently, I was playing around with it (checking for leaks) and noticed that there was a delay in updating. I’ve read up on it some and understand there is an averaging process that the programing uses to remove inaccuracy due to sloshing in the tank, but shouldn’t I see the resistance value move? I ran a faucet to fill the tank while I watched it and regardless of the average time setting it seemed to update the value every 5 minutes or so.
I guess I’m just trying to determine if the float may be hanging up or if it just doesn’t update the resistance value. I don’t really want to remove it and I cannot remember how it acted when I installed it.
Thanks
