This is coming from the phones OS and is a standard message, it’s NOT from VictronConnect!
VictronConnet itself says to look at the lable at the product or try 000000.
If there was no extra sicker in the box and you were able to connect with 000000 than that MPPT isn’t exactly new.
The individual PIN were introduced in mid 2023 and by now every new device should have that.
So your MPPT might be produced in late 2023 or early 2024.
Also purchased a used VAN and I don’t have any PUK NR for the BMV-712, wether on the shunt nor on the Display !
It’s probably 3-4y old.
Any option I can reset the PIN (NOP, this is not 000000!)

On the back of the monitor should be a sticker with the PIN/PUK.
If not the easiest might be to contact the previous owner and ask if he changed the PIN.
The longer way would be via the distributor using this form (you need to enter the serial number there):

It should be yes…this is NOT the case, otherwise I would not have open this thread !
Previous owner…yeh, you would keep all PIN safe for the next 20y in case a buyer ask you once : hey, what was the Victron PIN code on the van you sold me 5 y ago 
And yes, I know I can contact the distributor, I did…
And still can’t reset the PIN, as many others having the same issue !
