Resetting counters / statistics when PV system setup changed?

I am totally new to DESS, did run ESS for seven months ish.
Today I did not only activate and configure DESS, I also added another AC coupled Solar Inverter, and removed a generator I more or less played with only.
As far as I understood DESS, beside forecasts for PV and energy price, takes historical data into account for various calculations.
Having changed the setup, as outlined above, I’d like to understand if it makes sense to reset any counter/data, if possible at all.
Starting a new year from scratch could be an opportunity in a few days
Your thoughts ?

In my opinion, you have two alternatives. Either you let the system run based on the previous data, then the DESS will slowly adjust to the new reality based on the historical data it has collected and the new data. The consumption forecast will remain the same and the “new” production forecast will not play a decisive role at this time of year. The alternative would be to wait at least 28 days until the new yield forecast is reasonably secure in order to be meaningful.

@Sarowe1990 Thanks for sharing your view. So I guess I’ll do nothing, i.e. just let the system continue to runand learn. The one thing I might need to do though, is preventing DESS from discharging the battery during EV charging. I hope setting the required Modbus register, which I used to control ESS before, will not mess up DESS.
