I purchased a victron smart shunt 500 amp hrs and installed it in my camper, I have two lead acid
batteries in a bank the amp hrs of one battery is 120 amp hrs x 2= 240 amp hrs. what I don’t
understand is when voltage reads 13.2 v the capacity reads 100% capacity. When the voltage reads
12.52 V it reads 93% and at 12.1 V it reads 91% capacity.
This does not seem right or is it because I don’t think my batteries will give me 240 amp hrs, They
are quite a reasonable age.
I hope some one can give me some idea as to wether the setup is wrong or the batteries lack
capacity.
