Good afternoon all,
First some context regarding my setup.
I’m working on a small grid energy system with a fall back generator (ICE). This small grid system is equipped with a VE MultiPlus II 48- 5000, A smartBMV soc meter and 4 Yellow Top batteries in series. I want to control the generator power output based on current extraction and SOC of the battery. To measure several sensors and control the generator, I use a Gocontroll Moduline 4. This controller has LIN which I have connected to the TX pin of the smartBMV. The amplitude voltage level of this serial bus is 5V which is on the limit for the LIN bus. Since this controller is also equipped with Bluetooth it might be possible to read the BMV via Bluetooth.
Does anybody have experience with reading the BMV via Bluetooth? It is quit hard to find any information about Bluetooth communication. Any other suggestion to read SOC on the controller is also welcome. An overview of interfaces of this controller.
Thank you in advance. Feedback is appreciated.
