Hi, I’m running latest beta fw on a raspberry pi and while the web UI has switched to the new one, the GUI on physical screen is still the old one.
How can I control which UI is used on attached physical display?

Hi welcome.
This has been well documented in the modifications section where the Pi community tend to contribute.
The new UI is not supported on Pi screens due to limitations in the build.
It is not a beta issue and I don’t believe this will change any time soon.
You will unfortunately need to use the new UI remotely.

Just curious, what is the limitation?
iirc it is to do with graphics acceleration or something like that.
In the end this issue, “new UI not available on Waveshare and other hdmi displays on a PI”, is due to lack of time / other priorities in the software development team.
Anyone thoroughly familiar with RaspberryPis and Open Embedded build environment is welcome to come and “report for duty” by me
