I have a 50amp 120Vac generator and 120Vac shore power and I want to install a Victron inverter/charger down stream of those two items. I can install a selector switch to choose between the two but will a Quattro automatically switch between the two power sources? Thanks

Yes, the Quattro has 2 AC inputs, and will automatically switch between them with priority given to AC-In 1. In many cases the generator will be installed to AC-In 1 and shore to AC-In 2 so that when connected to shore but preparing to leave dock/pedestal you can start the generator, the Quattro will switch to that AC input, and you can then disconnect shore power without ever losing AC input.
