Quattro always shows bulk; should I be concerned?

Hello everyone,

My Quattro always shows bulk charging state. In reality, my BYD BMS requests 300A when SOC is low but reduces this to 0.1A when SOC reaches 100%. DVCC is active. Quattro remains in bulk.

I have read that this is a peculiarity of my BYD BMS (and some others) which never issue a command to change from bulk to absorption or float for lithium batteries. According to this logic, there’s nothing to worry about as long as my batteries fully charge and then request for low or no current.

It all makes sense but I just want to double check that those resources are correct?

Many BMSs just send the CVL to the GX and DVCC send this to the charging devices, which then just indicate bulk, although the logic could decide between bulk and absorption it appears not to do this.
