Pylontech + victron smart batteries

currently I have victron smart bms with 4x330ah smart batts

thinking about adding pylontech us5000 eventually replacing the victron batts, however for the time being I’d like to run both types same time, is that possible?

Pylontech only has 15 cells, not 16 as most others including the Victron Smart Lithium.
You can’t use them together.

recently I discovered pytes v5a, it’s 16s and has heating. but pylontech uf5000 has 16 cells also?

Not recommended. But if the two batts have the same parameters (charge and discharge voltage, change and discharge current, charged voltage, etc) and the same batt chemistry, highly unlikely, you can do it. This will probably void any warranty you may have.

Pylontech will void your warranty if you mix with other batteries. Don’t do it.
