The PV startup for the Multi RS is 120V and MPPT operating voltage range 65 – 450 V
Max PV voltage for both RS and Easysolar2 is 250V
Max PV Voltage for the Easysolar 1is 100V
My question is : what is the PV start-up and/or MPPT operation voltage range for both Easyplus 1 and Easyplus 2 ?
The Multi RS has a MPPT RS inside that means you have a max. PV voltage of 450V.
The EasySolar-II has a MPPT 250/70 or 250/100 inside → 250V max PV voltage, depending on the exact EasySolar-II model.
If I remember correctly the old EasySolar has a 150/XX or 100/XX inside → 150V or 100V max PV voltage, depending on the exact EasySolar model.
The non-RS MPPTs need a PV voltage that is 5V higher than the battery voltage.
But all that should be in the datasheet.
Thank you, you’re right, in the bottom the datasheet for the easysolar 1600 says
6b) PV voltage must exceed Vbat + 5V for the controller to start.
Thereafter minimum PV voltage is Vbat + 1V
