Problems with Victron multiplus

Since switching from 12V Multiplus to 24V, nothing but problems. Latest ones:

  • Often when connecting to wall, nothing happens and float light is on. Battery is usually almost empty and voltages and other settings are set correctly.
  • Connected 230v halogen light started flashing randomly, approx every 5 seconds. No flashing when connected to wall.

Device is Multiplus II 3000 230V 24V. I hope this is broken device since guarantee is on, but wanted to ask here first.

Download the RMA form and carry out the tests described on it, contact your dealer and discuss how to proceed.

Dealer suggested that I disconnect Multiplus from battery and wall for an hour. Lets see if that helps.

If you want to connect the battery, get an incandescent bulb and use it to gently pre-charge the capacitors.
