Please suggest best way to start with 1 phase and upgrade to 3 phases later

Hello everyone
I’d like to build a solar + inverter + battery for my home, but I’d like to build it with one inverter (one-phase) first and expand to 3 phases later due to budget constrains.

I checked with gpt and it suggests the following way:

Start with MultiPlus-II GX 6K5 and later expand by adding 2x MultiPlus-II 6K5 (non-GX)

Quesiton: is it a viable way, to start with anoter dvice, paticularly EasySolar-II GX 5kVA and then expand by adding 2x MultiPlus-II 6K5 (non-GX)? Would they be compatibe and able to work in one 3-phase system ?

ps. more on my starting conditions
I have a 3 phase grid entering my house which is 3 x 5 kW (25 amps) 230 V
I will build at least 32 kW battery (maybe more later, and as well expand gradually)
I have EV with a 24kWh battery and I charge it with standard 1 phase 230 V and it’s Okay for me (even despite 9 h full charge time), but I want to replace this car to a newer 50-100 kWh at some point and I will want to charge it based on 3 phase charger then.

Thank you everyone bothering to answer

It makes sense to start with a MultiPlus2, particularly the new 4k5 or 6k5 models, as these will probably remain available in this version for longer.

As far as I know, it’s not possible to combine a MultiRS with a MultiPlus2.

Go for an MP2 and choose the size according to your needs, but it’s better to go slightly larger rather than smaller—especially as you’re planning quite a large battery anyway, and your electricity consumption is likely to increase in the future.

For the PV system, if possible, it’s advisable to build part of it as a DC charger and integrate any additional systems via AC. That way, you get the advantages of both worlds.

Have you consider the Multi RS Solar 48V - 6000VA - 100A - MPPT 450/100

You will need three identical hardware versions for a future upgrade, so please bear this in mind when placing a later order.

Jetlag, thank you man. im not knowledgeble yet about “integrate any additional systems via AC” but I will explore , thank you for pointing out. I am thinking of various scenarious for extra pv energy dump into misc applications, which is a huge topic for me as I like diy

Thank you, yes, I thought of it, but I am going to keep stuff inside and I think I am going to be much more comfortable with heavy thoroidal transformer’s humming sound than with high frequency rotating fans of Multi RS Solar in sunny days.

The multiplus 2 doesnt do only humming sound, when fans kick in they can be noisy too!
