Hello,
I hope someone can help / point me into the correct direction.

This is a ESS system which is running in the UK.
Grid code is set to G99
ESS Assistant installed on both units

This morning I noticed that the multiplus’s were discharging at around 4400w, even though the load exceeded this and it was pulling a considerable amount from the grid on top, around 2000w.
The two multipluses should be able to provide the power no problem and have till this point.
I have tried restarting everything, however this didnt change anything.
Multiplus’s are running version V552 - Master Unit HQ23156EGX3, Parallel Unit HQ2207HVRTM.

I have 2x Seplos mason batteries proving 28.8kW of storage.

I have provided a screenshot as an example.

Here is a better example. It always leaves a considerable amount being pulled from the grid.

Long Shot have you got DESS enabbled?

No, I don’t. I have some node red running which makes sure I export at maximum. But that doesn’t kick in till the battery SOC is at 95%

You gone through your Nodes? and have you got a switch on the node so that you can return the multiplus to normal and then disable them and go from there?

Hi! It sounds like there may be a configuration issue or a fault with the multiplus units. Check the settings for load sharing and ensure that both units are properly communicating; consider reaching out to the manufacturer for further diagnostics if the problem persists.

I’ve disabled the node red stuff at the moment just to remove that element from fault finding.

How are you metering the grid side and PV inverter?

</div>

Are you using grid meter (ET112 or VM-3P75CT)? Or are you using CT clip to measure the grid?

</div>

So the grid is being monitored by a ET112 and the solar is being monitored by Modbus. The DC solar is just charge controllers directly connected with ve direct cables.

Where would I find load sharing settings?

Small update - I shortened the USB for the ET112 to 20cm just to make sure this wasn’t the issue. No difference.

I tried downgrading the code on the cerbo to v3.32

The other thing that I have noticed it seems to behave like this when exporting too. So when there is plenty of sun it’s charging the battery but also dumping about 10% to the grid.

Morning,

I have narrowed the issue down. This excessive grid use is only apparent when I have ACOut1 connected. Removing this connection on both inverters sorts the issue out completely.
Now I am stumped, any ideas?

Now I have narrowed the issue down, I will open a new thread.
