In a boat setup, I have an Orion XS charging the motor’s starter battery from a Victron NG main battery bank. In case of a low battery situation, I of course want to shut down the Orion to keep the main battery safe (there’s the fallback level of the Lynx BMS, but that should be a last resort). Will this work despite the Orion being indicated as not BMS controlled, or do I have to resort to installing an additional ATD wire from BMS to Orion?
Any help would be much appreciated.
