I have two xs 1400’s in parallel between an alternator and lithium battery system. Both have failed with over temp/voltage faults.
I see online many reports of this even though the litrature says it s ok to parallel them.
does anyone have experience of this?
We do it all the time and haven’t had failures yet. Did you connect them between the chassis battery and lithium battery or directly from the alternator to lithium battery? You need the chassis battery in between to buffer the voltage swings coming from the alternator.
