Have a non Victron LFP 12v battery that does not provide Allow to Discharge (ATD) nor Allow to Charge (ATC) signals.

When the BMS triggers a Low Voltage Disconnect, the existing non Victron DC-DC charger will not charge until the LFP battery BMS has a ‘jump start’ voltage applied. (It is not a very smart BMS)

Will the Orion range of DC-DC chargers wake up a LFP battery BMS that has entered Low Voltage Disconnect and continue charging?

Cannot find anything in the various Orion manuals reviewed that addresses this question.

The Orion’s should have voltage on the output once the input voltage is present. This is implied from:-
**The output voltage can be adjusted by approximately -**
**15% to +25% of the default value using the**
**potentiometer. Turn counterclockwise to decrease the**
**voltage and clockwise to increase it.**
**5. The output is protected against overload and short**
**circuits, allowing converters to be connected in**
**parallel. Always adjust the output voltage before**
**connecting converters in parallel or connecting a**
**battery.**
**6. Connect the load. The converter is now ready for**
**use.**

If there was no voltage output without a battery being connected, you would not be able to do this.
