I replaced my MultiPluses with Multi RS units and swapped the Cerbo GX for a Nucleo GX. I ran into something odd during this process.
My SolarEdge PV inverter connected to the AC Input was detected correctly, but the Overview screen showed 0 Watts. Clicking on the solar icon revealed the correct values. However, if I configured the PV inverter to be on the AC Output in the Integrations-PV Inverters settings, the screen display was normal (showing pv power).
I noticed that under Settings > System Setup > AC System, both AC-Input 1 and AC-Input 2 were listed as “unknown,” and I couldn’t change this. I suspected this might be the cause.
Firmware V3.75 or latest beta firmware has no effect. I performed a factory reset, but this had no effect either. Finally, I plugged an MK3 VE.Bus interface into a USB port (the Nucleo GX lacks a VE.Bus port, though I no longer need one with the Multi RS/VE.Can setup), and the AC-Input settings returned to the expected state (AC-Input 1: Grid). After that, the SolarEdge (AC Input) displayed correctly again. (with the MK3 unplugged)
Could this be a bug in the Nucleo GX? Or perhaps related to the installation sequence? (3x Multi RS + VM-3P75CT).
I’m also experiencing a grid setpoint issue with the Multi RS (3-phase, V1.31 V3.80-39) when switching from “passthrough” to “on.” Regulation to the grid setpoint (0 Watts/phase) doesn’t always apply to all phases; sometimes it only affects L1 (or L2 or L3) (L1 reads 0 Watts, while L2 and L3 feed 100% of the AC-PV power (L2&L3) into the grid), and other times it affects L2 and L3. It seems random, though sometimes it works correctly. Switching from “off” to “on” seems to work fine. I still need to investigate this further. As long as I don’t switch to pass-through, the grid setpoint regulation (all phases 0 Watt) seems to be working fine.
