I am a newby DESS user and have some issues i cant resolve myself.
I have three Multipluss II 6k5 in a 3 phase setup on to three 16kwh Lifepo4, totall 48Kwh, batteries.
I like to store all my solar energy into my battery. It used to do so but the last month i see that 1/3 of the solar output goes to the grid instead of the battery. The battery is not nearly full so i like to use my own solar before i import from the grid.
I have DESS setup to Green mode, optimised without Baterylife. The power is measured by a Victron VM3P75.
Can anyone point me into a direction where i can look for some good settings?
Do you have dynmaic prices drom the grid?
If you don’t just switch off DESS (restarting the system) and only feedback surplus
I have a dynamic tarif. I do want to use the DESS possibilities but i also want to store all solar energy what i produce before selling it.
I realise there are more user with the same issue as i have.
I can give some more info.
When i setup the system i made a mistake positioning the Solaredge on AC in 1. It performed well but i noticed the PV to battery and PV to use was schwithed. So i placed the solaredge at AC out (where it is really connected) and the graph showed the right usage.
But after that i noticed that DESS is using the grid more in stead of the battery as described.
Did i do anything wrong?
If your ESS multiphase regulation is set to “Total of all phases” i would expect the three MPs to charge at the same power each. But thats not what the above screenshot suggests, since on L2 the PV is producing 1.2kW, the load takes 100W and 1.1kW go back to grid. So just from this screenshot it looks like the MP on L2 is doing nothing.
Can you confirm that by looking at the MPs in the remote console, and that the regulation is set to total?
Thank you so much, you just solved my issue. I went to the setup and dicovered that the fuse L2 in the Lynx had blown up. That did the trick.
I feel a bit stupid now but i am so gratefull for your sharp conclusion.
The problem is Solved!!!
