# NMEA2000-out: transmit warnings on the GX onto the N2K network

It would be very useful if this could be extended to also include warnings, so that for example a BMS disconnect would be visualized at the helm before it actually occurs.

Note that warnings don’t trigger the external alarm even if one is installed at the helm, so this is currently a gap in functionality (see: [Trigger GX alarm relay also on Lynx Smart BMS warnings · Issue #1330 · victronenergy/venus · GitHub](https://github.com/victronenergy/venus/issues/1330#issuecomment-3271090716)).
