Newbie battery connection question

@dvukmer

according to linkes video, EG4 batteries shall support Victron.

Communication

Connect your 2 batteries via RS485 to build up a stack. Connect the stack master via CAN-bus to battery CAN in Cerbo or GX.
Select protocol VCT on your EG4 master.
Address DIP switches must be either 0 and 1 or 1 and 2. Master has the lower value.
You do not need the shunt in this configuration. The EG4 BMS will transfer SOC and much more data like DCL, CCL, CVL to Victron for optimal usage.

Energy

Connect both batteries to a Lynx Distributor. Also connect the both MP2s snd the MPPT to a Lynx Distributor. As you need 5 ports, you need two distributors, each having 4 ports.

I would create o e battery Lynx and one Lynx for the Victron gear. You can put a heavy duty switch or NH switch between the two Lynx’s.

Fuse monitoring
