Hello,
I can’t find the “Multiphase regulation” parameter from Cerbo’s Settings > ESS submenu on Modbus TCP. Is it accessible?
If you know its d-bus path, then you can look at the list below to find its Modbus register value.
If the path it’s not there, you can add it on the same list inside the Venus OS.

Found
path is /Settings/Cgwacs/Hub4Mode register is 2902
Register 2902 isn’t the ESS Mode register?
Why did you name it “Multiphase regulation” ?
Sorry, I am just asking because I don’t have an ESS per se system, nor multi phase.
Thanks.
LE:
I’ve taken a look inside the Cerbo menu scripts and, indeed, when a multiphase system, that menu option is mapped to that path and name…
Multiphase regulation is an ESS parameter for 3-phase systems that chooses how the systems work together to balance grid loading.
It is available on all ESS systems but ignored for single phase setups.
I can’t see a specific value for controlling this.
I was confused because in the case of Multi RS another option is named exactly the same, ESS Mode.
And has the options:
Register 4609, ESS Mode:
0=self-consumption (battery-life);1=self-consumption;2=Keep charged;3=External control
In multiphase, it seems that the same ESS Mode has the values:
Register 2902, ESS Mode:
1=ESS with Phase Compensation (Total of all phases); 2=ESS without phase compensation (Individual phase); 3=Disabled/External Control
Which should also answer to your question about specific value for controlling.
Maybe it needs a little work on naming convention, for avoiding future confusions, as the Multi RS will also support soon a much complex ESS…
