I have an off-line system in a bush camp with a MultiPlus 48/3000/35-16, SmartSolar Charger MPPT 150/45 rev3, CCGX and BlueNova BN52V-154-8k LiFePO4 battery. On evening of 22nd May 2036 at 23:20, it lost some of its settings - changed to 60Hz 240VAC and no battery type. Firmware is 2622555. I have extracted the log data file and it seems that the battery was at about 55%, and I do not see any errors for that time. There was a small load of less than 100W. Has anyone seen anything like this?
Did you update the MP Fw ?
I did not, as it was only one version out (555 instead of 556), I can try that.
Updating will result in settings being lost, you’ll not get them back by updating either.
Was the system secured??
maybe someone triggered an update without knowing that it was not his system.
After that maybe he realized his mistake and tried to restore settings (copy standard data back)
or it was done intentionally (some camper make pranks with switching of a battery in a foreign vehicle).
check your safety settings (e.g. no BT or WLAN standard setting like 000000 or 1234)
Thanks for your suggestion. This is an isolated camp in the middle of Hwange Game Reserve in Zimbabwe. Only one party can be there, and the next nearest camp is a few kilometers away. There is no WiFi or any communications, so to change the settings would require an MK3-USB interface.
I did find that a few hours earlier there was a fault - VE.Bus Error: VE.Bus Error 24: Switch-over system protection initiated. In the graphs below, you can see the increased current that the borehole pump draws when the frequency and voltage changed. The pump is only run for 30 minutes at a time.
Paste the event log screenshot for the period in question please.
