Hello,

My inverters are taking all the power from the grid even when the sun is shining and the batteries are fully charged. The inverters are in charger mode and will not switch to inverter mode. The inverters are in external control mode. If I disconnect the grid the inverters work without any problems as an island system. All devices are updated to the latest firmware.

My setup:

3x MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-48
3x Pylontech US5000
2x MPPT VE.Can 250/100 rev2
Ekrano GX

I found a topic on this forum with the same problem, which was solved by reinstalling cerba GX. I tried reinstalling my Ekrano GX with the latest and older firmware, but nothing helped.

Do you have any ideas where the error could be?

Thanks in advance!

I have installed and configured ESS assistants in all Multiplus II, in Ekrano GX I have it set to Optimized without battery life and allowed to feed into the grid

- What’s the Venus OS software you are currently running ?
- Are you running DESS or just ESS ?
- Is your grid meter installed & configured correctly ?

- Ekrano has firmware v3.55, Multiplus II has v556
- Use ESS, also tried DESS but it is currently disabled
- Use grid meter in Multiplus II

Midar,
you need to use an external gridmeter e.g. EM24.

There’s your issue.
For ESS to work properly, you need to use a dedicated grid meter and not the internal meter.

Solved. External gridmeter is not necessary, it works with integrated meter. The error was in the grid code setting “Use AUX1 as disable FeedIn signal”. After disabling this function everything works.
