Multiplus ii 12v 3000w 120 a not powering up

Ive just installed a brand new multiplus ii 12v 3000w and it wont power up at all. Ive 13.23v going into it and also tried shore power and see 230v there too but still nothing dead.

Any ideas what to look for pls?

Check:

  1. Voltage on Multiplus terminals.
  2. Unit is turned on by small switch.
  3. Connect a Mk3, and see if you can communicate with the internal processor (VE-connect, VE-configure).
    If 1& 2 are ok, but there are no led’s or communication, remove the unit for bench testing.

Hi Mike. Re 1 already said what the voltages are.

  1. Yup definitely turned on.
  2. No comms as no power

But issue solved it didnt like an ethernet cable from the cerbo gx… with it unplugged works fine very odd issue…

This will happen if you connect the MultiPlus to the wrong port on the Cerbo or if using an aftermarket cable that has something wrong with it… usually it’s the former though. Remember that the MultiPlus has to connect to one of the 2 VE.Bus ports, not the Ethernet port, and not any of the VE.Can ports.
