Hi, Does anyone know if it the multiplus has the functionality to set a dynamic low battery shutdown voltage to compensate for short duration high loads? I have a system with 2 x multiplus 5000’s in parallel with a programmed shutdown voltage of 23.00v, however at present the system is unreliable once the battery voltage reaches 24v as a intermittent high load will cause sufficient voltage sag to shut down the inverter. Im looking for a way for the system to dynamically adjust the shutdown voltage in response to high loads?
Some fixed off grid systems have the ESS assistant loaded for the features it adds.
This isn’t supported for mobile implementations due to potential safety issues with shore power.
There are also challenges with generators.
Thanks for the advice, the system is fixed but does have a generator input which was also my concern.
Its a shame there isnt an assistant specific to dynamically adjusting the low battery shutdown voltage for off grid systems? It seems wuite a simple feature
