Multiplus 2 AC Out 2 Relay with assistants cycling on/off

I am trying to support a customer with an issue on the relay control of AC Out 2 on Multiplus 2 48V 3000VA (Easysolar 2).

I’m testing the setup with most recent firmware versions (Multiplus V562, GX: v3.80). Pylontech battery connected and communicating with the GX device, SOC shows up as normal, no issues here.

The goal is to create a very basic configuration where the AC Out 2 turns on when the SOC goes over a certain limit, and off when SOC goes below a threshold. No other assistants used, only the two shown below. Virtual switch disabled, no internal battery monitoring.

The problem however is that while the AC OUT 2 ON-criteria works as it should, the OFF criteria does not. Instead the relay start cycling on/off couple of times per minute. I have tried also wider margins (etc. 52% off, and 60% on). The relay stays on between these two threshold values.

It seems that there is some hidden assistant or criteria that keeps turning the AC OUT 2 on, even though it should stay off. These tests were performed without voltage on AC Input.

Any ideas? Or is this related to how the Multiplus device estimates the SOC of the battery?

The “turn on” action should come first, followed by the “turn off” action (sorted from top to bottom), just like in this video. Swap their positions, and everything will work.

I have tried the assistants in both orders - no effect on the outcome.

Hmm. A factory reset and creating the assistants again seemed to solve the problem. There is also a newer firmware, but I did not install this yet. So remains a mystery, but works fine now.
