does this multiplus need the mains detector when used with the black ve bus bms?

serial.no. HQ2337MPPEP

PN. CMP121620000.

if i fit it anyway,before I get clarification, would it do any harm?

What do you mean by a “mains detector” ?

It’s the old VE.Bus BMS V1 thing, needed on all the MP and Quattros before the -II series.
