Multiple batterybanks programmed with Node-Red

I’m just started to build my new installation.

Parts and some stats.

Engine alternators, 2 x 60A = 120A.

Start battery, Optima marine with Victron 500A Smart shunt.

Leisure battery, Lithium 250Ah with Victron Smart shunt 300A, 2 x 12 x 12 50A Orion XS.

Bow thrustor battery, Lead 225Ah with Victron Smart shunt 1000A and 12 / 12 50A Orion XS.

Stern thrustor battery, Lead 150Ah with Victron Smart shunt 1000A and 12 / 24 15A Orion tr.

Allso solar power.

Smart solar MPPT 75 / 15

And I will add one more when I have more solar panels.

Also need a third party DV.direct quad spliter, DUPPA.

Now to how I want to program everything.

Strat battery will charge directly from alternstors. No control here. Only Smart shunt reading whats happening.

Leisure battery will start chargin with 30A with charger 1 when engine start.

Charger 2 will charge 50A when start battery is full.

When leisure battery is full, the bow and stern thrustor will start charging with a total of 80A.

A roule will be programmed that never will the chargers charge more than 80A combined at a given moment.

Not including solar power or the chargin of the start battery.

Also every battery bank will have their own shore power charger.

All this will be programmed with Node-RED.

Sounds ambitious.
Do you have a GX in this system or are you hosting the node red another way? Do you already have node red experience?

Is this your basic set up idea?

Yes, I have Cerbo GX as a brain.

No previous experience with Node-RED.

So I need to read a lot to learn how to program this.

So far I have 1 charger for leisure battery. Need to install charger 2 to complete the programming. Will install to day and then try to program later.

First trip with the boat is this weekend and I wont have any bow thrustors. Need to rebuild the wires for those systems. Maby I continue with the installation during the summer.

Your picture is correct.

I have now installed the starter battery and leisure battery and solar power. Shore charging also works.

Did not put in my new Lithium because some thing makes +12V on the battery cable that goes to the + on the leisure battery. Need to find this first. Did put in my old lead batteries so I can use the boat this summer and also cotinue building the rest of the installation.

My extra 50A sharger for leisure is OFF all the time due to no programing yet. Cant risk it to charge att the same time as strart battery charges. It will kill my generators.

Now I strarted to build bow thruster battery bank.
I changed the specifications to AGM dual purpuse batteries. 100Ah x 3. It will be like a second leisure bank. Thinking I might use it for both anchors and WC in front.

Biggest issue now will be to reinforce the place I want put them. Dont think it will otherweise stand the weight when waves hit the front.
