multiple batteries on BMS/CAN bus

I have a boat, with 4x Epoch 120ah batteries, with canbus support. Each of these batteries is distinct, and not parallel’ed. One for each engine, and two house batteries( primary and backup ).

I have a multiplus 3000 with 4 different batteries that aren’t smart, so they are just managed via the MultiPlus.

I have my Garmin MFD connected to Ekrano GX, so I can see details from my helm.

I can get two batteries to show up, each on Ve.Can1 and Ve.Can2, but I would like to see all 4.

Is this possible? I can ‘daisy-chain’ the batteries together, but then they become ‘banks’, and this causes issues as each battery can be discharged independently, and not how they are used on my boat.

These batteries are not used with the inverter/Multiplus at all, all I want is to display BMS data( SoC, voltage, amps in/out, temp, etc ) on the Ekrano and my Garmin( via the Victron App ).

Thanks,
Todd

You can daisy chain via CAN assuming they are the same baud. Just make sure DVCC is set to whichever one must be master, or none, if they are being used unmanaged.

When I try to daisy chain them, no battery is detected.

That may be due to the same brand and each being “master”.
Suggest you chat to the manufacturer and see if they can be set to allow what you are trying to do.
