MPPT remote control inputs

Can the remote control links of several MPPTs be connected together?
Google’s AI assistant (which offers an opinion regardless of whether it was asked) seems to think they can, but I’m not so sure.

Yes you can. Just be sure not to mix up H and L if you are using it like that.

Is it protected against one of the MPPTs losing a battery negative connection?

How are you connecting the remotes?

Just bridging over the h/l like it is from factory?

Or using a connection to h or l as described in the manual?

Or using the battery charge/not charge remote?

Just bridging across H and L with a relay like the factory-fitted link, but I want to control four from one relay, and am wondering if connected in parallel would cause problems if any MPPT lost its B- connection, or whether I should use a 4-pole relay and give each link its own pair of relay contacts.

If you are not passing voltage over the link, it will be fine.
I have one system with a few mppts that has been wired to one switch/contact (making a link like the factory) for while.
