Does the Victron charge controller support other communication protocols like SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol), Modbus(RTU/TCP) etc and also confirm the communication port(s) that it uses.
Nope.
Only proprietary vedirect, vecan.
Interfaces as per the relevant data sheet and manual.
You van access a fair amount of data once interfaced with a GX.
Victron charge controllers don’t have a network connection, only the proprietry data connection as mentioned above.
You would need a GX device to interface these to a network, The Gx device can support modbus TCP/IP on port 502 (configurable). Modbus map is available for download from Victron.
