MPPT Charge Controllers Appear in Devices but don’t appear on VRM Display

3 MPPT Charge Controllers Appear on App Widget Graphic & in Devices listed on vrm but don’t appear on Touch Display or vrm Graphic

1xVe Direct 2x VeCan

if I disconnect ve direct one the other 2 still don’t appear on Touch Display or on vrm Graphic

Disabled Smart Networking on the VeCan solar controllers DVCC is enabled

termination plugs are fitted at both physical ends of the VE.Can chain. [1, 2,]

BMS cable is on the dedicated BMS-Can port its not a CAN-bus speed conflict on the Cerbo GX as far as I can tell

  1. CAN-bus BMS (500 kbit/s)
  2. VE.Can standard (250 kbit/s).

Hardware seems Ok as they appear in Devices on all devices where they should

firmware is up to date on all 3 controllers (all be it Different a version on the ve direct unit) have Rebooted all devices

Unsure where to look next

Maybe add some screenshots.

That looks normal, what isn’t clear is the part that isn’t working.

Ok. So it was there and disappeared, or is that an image from another site?
If it was there, were any changes made around that time?
Any mods or drivers loaded?
What version is the GX running?

If they are listed in device list with an up to date last contact time, it should just appear.
Are they are missing on the remote console as well, new UI?

Hav not shown up just installed yesterday, no mods 3.75 Yes in Phone widget vrm & touch device lists

yes missing on remote console & Graphic Display Part only

Also not present in graphic displaying Classic view

Have you tried pulling the power on the gx to hard reset it?
Alternatively (should’t matter) try renaming the mppts to not have a # or “.” just plain text.

Yep Done that & renamed Differently only thing my local victron dealer can advise is THEY DONT KNOW

Did you rename without the “.” in 2.4KW?

It is a strange one.

If all else fails I would re-image the GX to factory (chapter 19 iirc).

You could try ssh into the GX and check if anything is in a log file in /var/log

What would you replace the ". "with

chapter 19 iirc?

Just delete it to test, on all of them, stick to pure alpha-numeric. Then restart.

Tried that

Ok will read it tomorrow let you Know

Thanks

It’s weird. Tested here with the special characters and it is fine. Only difference is no touch display.

might try without touch tomorrow also

Probably a good test to eliminate another variable.

Yes it might

I think from memory you could turn OFF the display Graphics & reboot then reenable which fixed issues
