Mppt 250 start up voltage?

I’m looking at the smart mppt 250/70

spec sheet says startup voltage is 245v and max is 250v

so if my panels make 200v it won’t start charging at all?

You are misreading the datasheet, that value is under the heading maximum voltage and 245V is the maximum voltage allowed during start up and operation.

The start up voltage is in note 1b, Vbat + 5V and once running Vbat + 1V to stay running.

cause right now I have a 450/200 and that datasheet clearly says any voltage from like 65-450v

so these smaller mppt specs confused me
