Mppt 250/100 death

Good afternoon, everyone. I am seeking some guidance regarding a Victron MPPT 250/100 VE.Can. The issue arose when “Error 80” appeared on our Victron system; after looking into it, it seems the system locked out one of the two installed MPPTs. Today, following an on-site inspection, we discovered that the MPPT is not receiving a PV charge from the string. Furthermore, the fuses installed to protect the device are arcing, leading us to conclude—unfortunately—that the MPPT has failed completely. Is there any way to repair an MPPT that has suffered a short circuit, or is there a warranty that covers this type of issue? I appreciate any feedback you can provide.

This should not be - Seems like the fuses are under rated.

The MPPT should be removed from the system, and pre-RMA bench tests carried out.

If the unit has failed it may be covered under warranty, but there are limitations which the pre-rma procedure will explain.
