Hi there,
I have set up a 3-phase system using 3x MP2 5k/48 devices. The issue is that the system restarts once or twice a day, causing electricity loss for a few seconds. When I look into the notification menu, it says:
Alarm: #1 Device switched off
I wonder how to investigate this behaviour. Is there a way to turn on more detailed logging so I could trace the root cause? It could also be related to the electricity wiring on the client’s side, but I don’t have any evidence.
You need to investigate which device is switching off randomly.
I would start with checking the install itself.
Is the install in cool place?
Are all the dc cables the same length, nothing has worked loose or getting warm is strange spots.
In the vrm check voltage and frequency.
Is is happening while inverting only? Is it during battery discharge? Load related?
I believe it’s related to device #1 connected to L1. The LED lights are flickering differently compared to the other 2 devices. I will double-check the configuration via Vconfigure tool as I have learned recently that the issue happens only when GRID is connected to AC-IN. If the GRID is disconnected.. system seems to work.
Note about wiring, I have reviewed all wiring and could not find any issues.
All configurations seem to be correct. I can’t see what could have caused this, and it’s frustrating. I made dozens of these systems, and this is the first time I’ve seen this behaviour. Could this be an HW device issue? How can I investigate further? There must be a way to get a reason why the device gets switched off. I assume some debug logging could help here. Anyone knows how to enable this?
FYI.. Issue solved!
The issue was related to HW failure.. After replacing one of the MP2 devices, the problem disappeared. I’m currently replacing/repairing a broken unit under the warranty program.
